Nightingale Medical Trust
Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT) is a professionally managed
not-for-profit organization working for the wellbeing of the elderly and persons with Dementia and Alzheimer's since 1998. NMT strives to strengthen family bonds and promote community-based support systems for Senior Citizens of all socio-economic groups through various innovative and need-based projects aimed towards Dementia Care, Active Ageing, Social Integration, Livelihoods, Capacity Building and Prevention of Elder Abuse.
Prepared a comprehensive FAQ booklet addressing legal issues faced by senior citizens. NMT has committed to publication and regional language translation
Elder's Helpline
Collaborated with Nightingale's Trust, and more particularly their popular call line called the Elder’s helpline. Elder’s helpline is a 24/7 service that offers assistance to senior citizens. As part of the collaboration, LSC agreed to provide legal aid wherever required in all the cases the elder's helpline gets.
