Migration Assylum
Project
Migration & Asylum Project (MAP) is India’s first dedicated law centre for forced migration and displacement. Started in 2013, it seeks to end the marginalisation of one of the most vulnerable communities in the world - migrants and refugees – by making Rule of Law central to addressing human rights challenges and ensuring grassroots justice.
In March, 2021, MAP won the Ockenden International Prize, 2021, awarded to organisations working towards promoting self-reliance amongst displaced populations.

Labour Law Handbook
Prepared a handbook on labour laws in India. To this end, LSC members prepared comprehensive research documents on the four new labour codes including the historical origins, legislative-reform mapping, judicial jurisprudence and the social, economic, and political considerations concomitant to the development of the code.
Paralegal Safety Guide and Training Materials
In the process of developing a safety protocol for legal aid actors on field (i.e., paralegals and lawyers), particularly for Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, including cover safety for women, those working in mountainous regions, etc.) by referring to both domestic and international practices for the same (e.g., if other SLSAs have developed such a protocol, UN guidelines for humanitarian workers, etc.).
Preparing animated videos based on MAP's PLV Training Handbook showing human interest stories on how different laws can be used to help marginalized or underserved communities with the help of paralegals.
