Free Legal Aid
Our Role
Thank you for reaching out to Legal Services Clinic, NLSIU. Firstly, we would like to clarify that we are an entirely student-run clinic and are not eligible to provide legal advice.
We assist people by connecting them to lawyers who are willing to take on their cases on a pro bono basis and provide support to the lawyers as needed. Our pro bono lawyers, many of them NLSIU alumni, are based in cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Pune.
Our matters have spanned housing disputes, domestic violence, workplace harassment, family law, education grievances, and access to welfare schemes.
